Climate Change Resources

Over the last 20 years or so, there has indeed been a major move to reorganize communities in a way which is supposed to help us live happier, more fulfilled lives.  We are sold a lot of lines about community and "live, work, and play" and a ton of other things.  But always, in the back of it all, if you look at the underlying arguments, you'll hear the faint sounds of..."reducing our carbon footprint."

It is the new religion.  Sustainable Development is just the name of the religion. The GOD is Mother Earth, and the Bible...well, the Bible is jokingly called the "Climate Bible," AKA, the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) Assessment Report, which is renewed every six years (2013 will complete number "AR5").  This body's work, which is constantly ongoing, is THE SINGULAR FOUNDATION of the "consensus" on Anthropogenic (human-caused) Global Warming.

Hobart_group_webWithout it, there is no "consensus" and if its work is flawed, the consensus is false.

A MOUNTAIN of evidence has been compiled which show that the IPCC, far from being a bastion of scientific mavens, intent on finding the truth, is simply and clearly a UN sponsored "think tank" whose singular mission is to get the international community to commit to a corrupt form of wealth-distribution through carbon reductions and carbon "trading."  In short, they are "activist scientists."

We have been told, and our communities are being reengineered to accommodate for the idea that: the Earth is warming at an alarming rate, we are to blame for too much industrialization, and our only solution is to "reduce our carbon footprint."  There are lots of resources on this topic, but the singular best aggregation of the research which refutes the fundamental ENVIRONMENTAL leg of the Sustainable Development three-legged stool is:

Donna Laframboise is the blog's owner (who also runs "" to make sure we really get the point), and has created two books on the topic:

The Delinquent Teenager...Who Was Mistaken For the World's Top Climate Expert.  Through a grassroots-style, meticulous and exhaustive series of examples, one after the other, after the other, Delinquent Teenager COMPLETELY dismantles every last shred of credibility away from the IPCC, and as a result dismantles the premise that the "science is settled."

Into the Dustbin. Ms. Laframboise's second book focuses mostly on the years that have passed since the publication of Delinquent Teenager, and is actually a collection of essays which focus like a laser on the fearless leader of the IPCC (serving his second 6 year term as Chairman), Rajendra Pachauri, and his increasingly pitiful efforts to salvage the reputation of the organization which has made a joke of scientific inquiry for over 20 years.

Further, an environmental law professor from the University of Virginia, published, in 2010 a "cross examination of the IPCC, scrutinizing its procedures and checks and balances to determine whether it was the hallmark of science and unbiased inquiry which it purported itself to be:

The conclusions from this paper are...startling.

Mind you, neither of these great resources addresses the science itself, only the credibility of those who have demanded that the world should shut up talking about it because the science is "settled." Though all one really needs to know about one's confidence in their data is that they really don't want anyone to question it.

As far as the science itself, there are several sites which take different views of the topic (but don't expect the UN or the IPCC to really care about the ones who don't tow the line):

As more resources become available, this page could be updated.
